Hi – I'm a Texas-based freelance photojournalist with work in the Texas Tribune, Houston Chronicle and The Dallas Morning News.
My work has taken me through waist-deep floodwater, on board a Gulf Coast shrimping boat and into homes of storied families across the state. I'm always looking for my next adventure/assignment.
My journalism career kicked off as a staff photographer, and eventually managing editor, at the Daily Texan, the student newspaper of the University of Texas at Austin. In college, I complimented my journalism with a degree in anthropology, which took me on a deep dive exploring why people are the way they are. That knowledge guides my photography today.
I also produce all sorts of visual media, from event photography to short video spots, and I'm always open to hear your idea. Let's be in touch!
